About DK2 Studios

Our recording studio was designed to be acoustically diverse and easily customizable to best suit each and every project’s needs. The main studio features hardwood flooring and custom built Auralex diffusion panels to offer a rich, warm and naturally reverberant sound.

We also have designed and built a series of portable walls and gobos that can transform the main recording studio environment into whatever you need, whether it’s bright and airy or quiet and ‘dead.’

Within the studio there are also two separate amp/vocal booths that provide clean separation for guitar, bass or vocals while maintaining the ability to play “live” within the same recording environment as your other band members.

Finally, when it comes time to “take five,” you’ll find that our location within the heart of Santa Cruz’s west side is within minutes of finding great food from all corners of the world and beautiful scenic views from Natural Bridges to Lighthouse Point.

Contact us and let us know how we can help you with the creation and completion of your next project.
